Italian Villas Italian Villa Holidays with Flights
The Italian countryside is the place to enjoy an authentic experience, to appreciate the real old traditional flavours, or just to watch life go slowly and peacefully by. Here are our most popular Italian villas in Tuscany, The Amalfi Coast and Umbria.
In Tuscany you will find rolling Tuscan hills, historical villages and cellars where you can taste some of the regions greatest wines. The world famous towns of Florence and Siena, as well as many other beautiful, well loved Tuscan towns like Pisa, Volterra and Montelpulciano all within a short drive. The Chianti countryside, where you will find many of Tuscany’s most charming locations, such as San Gimignano, has been a popular destination for international travellers for many years and we are delighted to welcome them all to our portfolio.
The Amalfi Coast (la Costiera Amalfitana), is a beautiful and renowned stretch of mountainous coastline south of Naples, in Campania. Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and is home to some of the most beautiful and best-loved coastal towns in the world. The southern side of the peninsula is dotted with picturesque villages and towns clinging giddily to cliffs; this is what is known as the Amalfi Coast. Amalfi town is a delight for shopaholics and foodies, wander past the steps which lead up to the Duomo. A pedestrianised street meanders up the hillside which is lined with traditional cafes, speciality restaurants and souvenir shops packed local specialities such as interestingly shaped bottles of limoncello liqueur.
Umbria or Ombra meaning 'shadow' as is more commonly known is one of Italy's smallest regions. Nestled just east of Tuscany, north of Rome and west of the Marches, Umbria is surrounded by beautiful Italian countryside. With stunning landscapes and hills right out of a Renaissance painting, Umbria has the perfect location for exploring the nearby medieval towns like Spello, Todi, Assissi and Orvieto. Relaxed and serene, this verdant green landscape, sprinkled with olive groves and stone hamlets, gives Umbria the title of 'Il Cuore Verde d'Italia', or the Green Heart of Italy.
