Villa Poseidonia is only five minutes walk from Katelios beachfront, on
the southeastern tip of the island. It’s peacefully located on a slight
elevation, affording superb views to the sea; it’s the ideal place to
unwind and relax.
The property is behind gates in private grounds. The tasteful interior
is a combination of modern and traditional furnishings, creating a
unique and stylish look.
A few steps lead to the 2-storey villa. The ground floor is occupied by
a lounge with ample sofas, and a flat screen satellite television with
DVD player. The well equipped kitchen and dining area is separate. There
is also a shower room.
Upstairs there’s a large en suite master double bedroom and two en suite
twin bedrooms.
Patio doors open from the kitchen and lounge to a terrace with exterior
dining area and a brick-built barbecue. The pool with separate jacuzzi
is on a lower terrace. The well established, tropical gardens are
private and offer shaded areas. Villa Aliona, which sleeps 8, is also in
Katelios, and is only five minutes drive away.
Just a 5-minute walk from the villa is the seafront at Katelios. The
long beach is sandy and gently shelving with umbrellas and sunbeds for
hire. Explore the coast in a small motorboat which can be rented. There
are mini markets and a number of café bars and restaurants; it’s perfect
for enjoying a meal or a drink.
There are lots of restaurants serving a varied choice of the fresh fish
which Katelios is famed for. There is also a varied selection of
non-fish dishes on offer.
The busier resort of Skala, which has a much greater choice of café
bars, restaurants, supermarkets and gift shops, is only a 10-minute
drive down coast. Skala also offers a relaxed nightlife. The long,
mainly sandy beach at Skala has been awarded a Blue Flag, and offers
