Villa La Barraca is a wonderful sea-side house in a very glamorous location on the waterfront of Cala D'Or's marina, Cala Llonga. The house has a great swimming pool and terrace at the front with constantly changing views of boats sailing past to the marina. A beach, cafés, restaurants and shops are just a couple of minutes' walk further along the waterfront.

The house is built on three levels with very light, cool and bright rooms with picture windows giving fantastic views over the water. The interior design of the house is in white and neutral colours with clean uncluttered spaces, tiled floors, and lots of spotlights. On the ground floor there's a well planned white kitchen with appliances including a dishwasher. There's also a spacious open-plan lounge and dining room with a long dining table and comfortable sofas. Also here on the ground level there's a cloakroom-bathroom and utility room.

On the first floor there are two twin bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms. The top floor has two more bedrooms: a double room and a twin room which share a full bathroom. All the bedrooms are air-conditioned.

The pool area and terrace at the house is brilliantly designed with a gated driveway and a lovely pool, surrounded by sun-terraces and trees, which looks out towards the marina.

The pool is child-friendly with a special safety guard that creates a shallow end for splashing quite separate from the deeper part for swimming. There are lots of sun-beds and terrace furniture out here. The house has a number of steps and therefore care needs to be taken with young children and the elderly.

This is a great villa in a super place on the waterfront - with some of the world's most glamorous boats gliding past as you relax in the pool! Being in the resort of Cala D'Or means there's cafés, restaurants and shops just a short walk away.
